With our cooperation partners in Stühlinger we campaign for harmony and togetherness in our neighborhood. Since October 2014, we have being developing our Sunday brunch into a neighborhood meeting point for children, teenagers, parents, grandparents and volunteers living in Stühlinger.

Sharing a meal in Stühlinger
During our events “Sharing a meal in Stühlinger”, which we organize together with alternating cooperation partners on the Stühlinger marketplace, we invite people to linger on, chat and enjoy some food or snacks with us.
We inform about our activities, about the institutions in Stühlinger and the opportunities to participate and volunteer in these institutions.
Dialogue with Sunday’s soup
While brainstorming, trying things out and staying in touch, we developed a new format. We welcome everybody who wants to participate and who is interested in actively contributing. No particular criteria need to be fulfilled in order to participate, children are welcome, as always.
Child care is provided in the playroom.
Pilot project “3 generations cook together”
Three senior citizens from the Marienhaus St. Johann e.V. (http://www.marienhaus-freiburg.de/), 3 students from the Catholic University and 3 moms with their children from the Klara Family Center met every 2 weeks from May until July 2014, alternating in the Klara Family Center and in the Marienhaus. In the framework of the pilot project “3 generations cook together”, they prepared vegetarian dishes and desserts and had dinner altogether. They developed very tight, intergenerational, inter-cultural contacts and had fascinating conversations.
